Nebraska eyes breakout seasons for Quinn Clark and Jeremiah Charles in 2026

Quinn Clark and Jeremiah Charles, each recruited with a single offer, are being positioned as potential breakout players for Nebraska in 2026. Clark, the son of former Husker star Ken Clark, arrived as a 6'5" 190-lb receiver and has since added roughly 20-25 pounds while shaving time off his 40-yard dash, a transformation credited to strength staff Corey Campbell and nutritionist Kristin Coggin. Head coach Dana Holgorsen highlighted Clark’s readiness to earn snaps alongside veterans Jacory Barney Jr., Nyziah Hunter and Kwazi Gilmer.

Charles, who played only one high-school season as a receiver before switching to cornerback, grew from 160 to 180 lb by eating six meals a day and leveraged his special-teams experience to accelerate his defensive learning. Defensive coordinator Rob Aurich and secondary coach Addison Williams praised his daily competition and confidence gains, noting his improvement since a subpar 2024 showing against UCLA.
