The Swedish crime series Blood Sacrifice has launched on Netflix with a five-episode first season, and no official word on a second season yet.
Netflix has added the Swedish thriller Blood Sacrifice to its catalog, offering a five-episode first season that runs between 44 and 58 minutes per episode. The series, created by George Kay, centers on estranged father and son detectives, portrayed by Peter Andersson and Jakob Oftebro, who must set aside old grievances to stop a killer targeting police officers. Supporting cast includes Electra Hallman, Alexander Abdallah, Henrik Norlén, Lisette T. Pagler, Magnus Krepper, Irina Björklund, Anders Mossling, and Anna Maria Käll.
Critical response is positive, with an 86% Rotten Tomatoes score and praise for Andersson’s performance as the cantankerous Alfred Berg.
