New forensic psychiatric assessment ordered for 2011 Norway terrorist
Norwegian authorities have commissioned two experts to re-evaluate the risk posed by the man who killed 77 people in the 2011 attacks.
The individual responsible for the 2011 mass killings, who is serving a 21-year custodial sentence, will undergo a fresh forensic psychiatric review. Two appointed specialists will assess the likelihood of dangerousness if release were considered. He previously changed his name to Jan Johansen and has had two parole requests denied.
