New poll shows mixed public reaction to party proposals after Thessaloniki exhibition

According to an Opinion Poll commissioned by Action 24, the public reacted unfavorably to the policy package unveiled by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition, with the majority reporting little or no satisfaction. The most popular elements of his agenda were the abolition of tax for three-child families, a rise in the minimum wage, a boost to annual pension benefits and a zero-tax rate for farmers.

Proposals from opposition figures, including a cut in VAT to six percent on essential food and hygiene items, attracted limited but positive feedback. When asked which politician they trusted most to implement economic promises, respondents largely chose none, followed by Mitsotakis, Alexis Tsipras and Nikos Androulakis. The poll also showed a shift in support for several parties, with New Democracy maintaining a lead, ELAS in second place, and PASOK gaining ground while Maria Karystianou's party fell behind.
