New Poll Shows Strong Desire for Change and Low Support for a Third Term

Alco’s poll, commissioned by Alpha TV and released on Monday, shows a clear appetite for political renewal, as 67% of participants say the country needs change and only 25% support a third term for Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. The questionnaire also found that merely 9% consider recent price-cut initiatives effective, while 77% report no noticeable effect. Regarding the impact of the DETh measures, 48% feel they benefit their household not at all and 34% say only a little, leaving 82% overall rating the measures as minimal or useless.

Satisfaction with the government is low, with 58% expressing no satisfaction at all. In terms of voting intention, New Democracy leads, ELAS follows, and PASOK holds a modest share, with other parties like Greek Solution, KKE, Freedom Movement, Hope for Democracy, MERA25, Voice of Reason and SYRIZA trailing far behind.
