New streaming titles debut this week across Netflix, Neon, HBO Max and more
A fresh slate of series and films arrives on platforms such as Netflix, Neon, HBO Max and TVNZ+ this week, ranging from true-crime thrillers to comedy dramas.
This week’s streaming lineup introduces a variety of new content. Neon debuts American Hostage, a tense adaptation of the popular podcast starring Jon Hamm as radio reporter Fred Heckman. HBO Max adds Youth, a darkly comic look at mid-life dating created by and starring Sharon Horgan.
TVNZ+ releases Line of Fire, a drama inspired by Jenna Bush Hager’s experiences that follows a family of law-enforcement officials caught in a conspiracy. Netflix’s Unabomber alternates between the bomber’s Harvard years and his later manhunt, featuring Jacob Tremblay, Russell Crowe and Shailene Woodley. Apple TV+ presents Brothers, a tongue-in-cheek series with Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson playing fictional versions of themselves.
Neon also streams a documentary on actress Kim Novak’s Hollywood legacy. Additional titles, from classic films to anime, round out the offerings on platforms such as Prime Video, Disney+, and ThreeNow.
