New York Governor declares emergency as powerful Nor'easter approaches

Across the border, New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill declared emergencies for eight counties, including Atlantic and Ocean, as the storm continues its path up the coast. The system has already impacted North Carolina, submerging sections of the Outer Banks under four feet of water, prompting regional preparations along the Eastern seaboard.
