NFL probes Eagles security chief after former player alleges police collusion

Former NFL linebacker Emmanuel Acho disclosed on his “Speakeasy” podcast that he rear-ended a car while driving to practice and was told by a team official to have the responding police officer leave and replace him with another officer who would attribute fault to the other driver. Acho said the replacement officer filed a report exonerating him, and that the Eagles later provided two home tickets and signed jerseys to the victim.

The allegations prompted the NFL to launch an investigation into Dom “Big Dom” DiSandro, the Eagles’ senior advisor to the general manager and head of security. Philadelphia reporter Derrick Gunn reported the league’s involvement, though the NFL has not responded. Former Eagles players LeSean McCoy remained silent, while Asante Samuel publicly questioned Acho’s credibility on social media. The case highlights potential misconduct involving team security and law-enforcement coordination.
