Authorities in Churchill Borough arrested former NFL running back Miles Sanders after locating his motionless Lexus on William Penn Highway near Beulah Drive. When officers approached, Sanders was found seated in the driver’s seat, appearing lethargic and drifting in and out of consciousness. A breathalyzer test returned a positive result for alcohol, and a sealed package believed to contain marijuana was also seized.
Sanders, 29, most recently played for the Dallas Cowboys in 2025 after stints with the Philadelphia Eagles and Carolina Panthers, now faces charges of DUI and careless driving.
