NHL launches Hometown Remix jersey series with Fanatics for all 32 clubs
The NHL announced a league-wide "Hometown Remix" uniform program with new color schemes for every franchise, produced by Fanatics.
The National Hockey League disclosed plans for a new Hometown Remix jersey program, marking Fanatics' first league-wide uniform project since becoming the official supplier in 2024. The series will feature fresh color palettes and logo treatments for all 32 teams, echoing the fan-focused designs seen in MLB's City Connect and the NBA's City Edition lines. Earlier, Adidas produced two Reverse Retro editions that drew on team history and regional hockey heritage, which were well received.
Graphic site Icethetics has already published speculative designs, including a pink jersey for the Florida Panthers and a green kit for the Chicago Blackhawks. While the exact launch date remains unconfirmed, the league indicated that details will emerge shortly after the start of the 2026-27 season, which begins earlier this year thanks to a new collective bargaining agreement that expands the schedule to 84 games.
