Nobel-winning psychiatrist warns Trump could trigger nuclear launch in a rage

Nobel laureate psychiatrist Henry Abraham told a SiriusX interview that Donald Trump's mental state has worsened and makes a nuclear launch more likely.

In a recent SiriusX radio appearance, Nobel Peace Prize-winning psychiatrist Henry Abraham warned that Donald Trump's mental condition has deteriorated further since his April call for removal from office. Abraham, 84, likened the president’s unrestricted control over nuclear arsenals to permitting an airline pilot with similar symptoms to operate a plane, highlighting the absurdity of the current secrecy surrounding presidential health.

He asserted that the risk of Trump employing a nuclear weapon in a moment of rage or confusion is now higher than ever. Abraham stressed that nuclear weapons represent a technology capable of ending human life on a planetary scale, and that the president appears to view them merely as a larger bomb. The psychiatrist concluded that the world faces heightened danger as a result of this combination of mental instability and absolute nuclear authority.

Why it matters

A leader with questionable mental health controlling nuclear weapons poses a serious global security risk.
