Police in Noida detained three individuals, including a woman, after they allegedly confessed to more than 100 thefts in locked apartments across the city and other Uttar Pradesh districts.

Noida law enforcement captured three alleged members of an inter-district burglary ring near a cremation ground in Sector 123, seizing gold and silver jewellery, five laptops, two tablets, six mobile phones and Rs 3.50 lakh in cash, as well as an Ertiga used in the crimes. The suspects - 30-year-old Kailash alias Diwakar of Bulandshahr, 32-year-old Irfan alias Imram of Ghaziabad and 24-year-old Sonali of Saharsa, Bihar - reportedly confessed to more than 100 thefts targeting locked flats in Noida and other Uttar Pradesh districts.

According to investigators, the gang masked their faces, conducted reconnaissance, and returned later to break in, moving stolen goods to various locations for resale.
