Noorazli pleads not guilty to hurting religious feelings in UMNO speech

A magistrate read the charge to Noorazli, who entered a not-guilty plea. He is accused of wounding the religious feelings of Xenia Lok during a speech delivered on September 12 at Dewan Merdeka, World Trade Centre. The offence falls under Section 298 of the Penal Code, carrying up to one year in jail, a fine, or both. Bail was set at RM6,000 with one surety, and the case is scheduled for a mention on November 18.
