Norsk Tipping approves settlement, will run separate compensation draws

A settlement in the extensive lawsuit against Norsk Tipping has been formally approved, concluding the dispute over erroneous lottery draws. Both parties have agreed to the terms, according to Merete Haug Jørstad, the company's legal director. The agreement mandates that Norsk Tipping carry out separate compensation draws for the customers impacted by the earlier mistakes.
Part of the settlement funds will be allocated to prize money in these new draws. The lawsuit stemmed from revelations that the Eurojackpot national jackpot and the Supertrekning Lotto draw engine had been mishandled for years, prompting numerous claims against the operator.
