The event was promoted as family-friendly and attracted about 100 ticket buyers before it was publicized on a popular social-media account. Following the online exposure, the brewery reported receiving threats and harassment directed at both the venue and its employees.
Owners reached out to law enforcement but were unable to verify whether the threats were credible. Citing employee safety, they decided to cancel the show. Organizers indicated they intend to regroup and hold the fundraiser at a later date.
