Nothing unveils Headphone (1) Pro with triple-driver sound and studio-grade features
Nothing introduced the Headphone (1) Pro in New York, a $399 over-ear model that adds three drivers per ear and a flat EQ mode for studio use.
Nothing revealed its latest over-ear headphones, the Headphone (1) Pro, during a launch in New York City. Building on the original Headphone (1), the Pro model adds a triple-driver architecture: a 40-mm dynamic bass driver, a precision midrange driver and a dedicated treble driver, all employing silicon-diaphragm xMEMS tech for sharper transients. The design showcases the drivers behind transparent Panda glass panels, which the company says survived 18 one-meter drops and can be removed for repairs.
Audio-pro features include a flat-EQ button created with Metropolis Studio and several custom EQ presets, while active noise cancellation uses ten microphones. Weighing slightly less than its predecessor, the Pro offers 68 hours of battery life without ANC and carries an IP52 dust- and water-resistance rating. Priced at $399, it will reach stores on September 29 via Nothing’s online shop, Amazon and Best Buy locations throughout North America.
