November SSI benefits will be deposited on October 30
The Social Security Administration will issue November 2026 Supplemental Security Income payments on Friday, Oct. 30, instead of the usual first-of-the-month schedule.
The SSA announced that November 2026 Supplemental Security Income payments will be distributed on Friday, Oct. 30, because the first day of the month is a Sunday. Payments are normally made on the first of each month or the preceding business day if the first is a federal holiday. Individuals may receive up to $994, couples filing jointly up to $1,491, and caregivers up to $498.
To qualify, recipients must be U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens, live in one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, or the Northern Mariana Islands, and not be absent from the United States for a full calendar month. The benefit is targeted at people with limited income who are blind, aged 65 or older, or have a qualifying disability, with amounts adjusted based on other income sources. A full payment calendar is available on the SSA website.
