Nvidia adds Steam Controller support to GeForce Now and rolls out several new features
Nvidia announced that GeForce Now will support Valve's Steam Controller later this year, with additional platform expansions and feature upgrades.
Nvidia confirmed that its GeForce Now cloud gaming service will gain official compatibility with Valve’s Steam Controller and Steam Machine during the next few months, enabling gameplay on the Steam Deck and Steam Machine using the controller. For Windows and macOS users, controller support is promised "later," according to Nvidia. The rollout is part of a broader set of upgrades that include new DLSS 4.5 settings for Super Resolution, Dynamic Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction, the launch of GOG single sign-on, and plans to bring the service to additional Amazon Fire TV Stick devices with subscription options. Firefox users can now access GeForce Now, and the company also highlighted upcoming RTX Spark chip support from EA, Embark and Ubisoft, as well as upcoming path-tracing updates for 007 First Light and RTX Remix improvements.
