October sees wave of Indian IPOs including Jio Platforms and Zetwerk

Around a dozen Indian firms are set to launch IPOs in October, covering sectors such as technology, healthcare, renewable energy, defence and precision manufacturing, with Jio Platforms expected to become the country's largest listing.

A dozen companies are preparing IPOs in October, spanning technology, healthcare, renewable energy, defence and precision manufacturing. Jio Platforms, the digital arm of Reliance Industries Ltd, will open its subscription on October 21 and close on October 23, targeting the largest IPO in Indian history. Zetwerk plans to raise about ₹5,000 crore via a fresh issue of ₹2,600 crore and an offer for sale.

HD Fire Protect and Fusion CX have set price bands of ₹258-271 and ₹275-289 per share respectively for their ₹712-crore and ₹702-crore offerings. Additional issuers include Tonbo Imaging, Bonfiglioli Transmissions, Sahajanand Medical Technologies, Avaada Electro, Paras Healthcare, NDR InvIT Trust, Gujarat Victory Forgings and SFC Environmental Technologies, each combining fresh equity with offers for sale. Neha Agarwal of JM Financial Ltd noted that deep domestic liquidity and selective foreign capital keep institutional demand strong, provided issuers price responsibly. She added that investors are shifting focus toward companies with clear earnings visibility, solid governance and efficient capital use.

Why it matters

The surge of large IPOs signals strong investor appetite and could channel significant capital into key growth sectors of the Indian economy.
