Odisha Secures Over ₹8,417 Crore in Investment MoUs During UAE Outreach

On day two of its UAE investor outreach, Odisha drew investment proposals totaling more than ₹8,417 crore from 13 companies and industry groups.

During the second day of a targeted outreach to investors in the United Arab Emirates, Odisha secured investment intents exceeding ₹8,417 crore, presented by 13 firms and industry groups across a wide range of sectors. The commitments cover IT and ESDM, agro-food processing, steel and downstream manufacturing, logistics, rare earths, chemicals, aluminium and circular-economy initiatives, collectively projected to generate about 14,310 jobs.

The largest memorandum of understanding was signed by K Raheja Corp Real Estate Pvt Ltd for ₹4,000 crore in the IT and ESDM space, promising roughly 10,000 positions. Other notable agreements include Advanta Seeds FZCO's ₹800 crore agro investment, PTCL's ₹300 crore steel downstream plan, Sharaf Group's ₹500 crore logistics proposal, and PGI Group's ₹300 crore rare-earth project. State officials, led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, met with UAE Economy Minister Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri and conducted a Dubai roundtable with executives such as Shyam Kapur and Ritesh Rama Krishnan to explore further opportunities. The outreach follows earlier MoUs with the Adani group and International Holding Company valued at about ₹2.1 trillion.
