Odyssey Entertainment unveils creator-focused Originals division
Odyssey Entertainment Group announced a new division, Odyssey Originals, to produce creator-led content while letting creators keep full IP rights.
Odyssey Entertainment Group, a Nashville agency created in 2021 by Nicole Kasper and Paige Kosinski, has launched Odyssey Originals, a new production arm that partners with creators under a model that preserves 100% ownership of the underlying IP. The move extends the company's original focus on management and brand partnerships across lifestyle, comedy, food, wellness, business, entertainment, fashion and home. Co-founder Kasper emphasized that the initiative puts creators' dreams ahead of profit, while co-founder Kosinski said it embodies "legacy over likes."
Odyssey Originals will collaborate with the existing comedy banner King Jester, led by Zack Slingsby and Brendan Nardozzi, and the female-led SickBird Productions, whose CEO Jade Watson highlighted the importance of creator empowerment. Early projects include comedy series from performers Courtney Michelle, Antonio Baldwin and Kristen Marie, with Michelle noting the unprecedented ability to retain full IP rights.
Why it matters
