Ohio and Kentucky clash tonight for a spot in the Little League World Series

Ohio's West Side Little League will meet Kentucky's North Oldham team tonight in the Great Lakes Region final, with the winner earning a berth in the Little League World Series.

In the Great Lakes Region tournament, Ohio's West Side Little League, entering the final with a 3-0 record, will face Kentucky's North Oldham Little League, which secured its place by defeating Indiana 8-5 after a weather-delayed game. Ohio earned its spot by beating Michigan, Indiana and Kentucky in earlier rounds. Kentucky's victory over Indiana came after trailing early, with pitcher Easton Craig delivering a full-game effort of 75 pitches.

The winner of this single-elimination matchup will travel to South Williamsport, Pennsylvania for the Little League World Series. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and one outlet streaming app. The last Kentucky team to win the LLWS did so in 2002, while Ohio has never captured the title.
