Ohio hospital employee sentenced for child pornography and extremist views

Benjamin Naylor, 32, from Deer Park, Ohio, was apprehended after the vigilante collective Predator Poachers pretended to be a 13-year-old online. Detectives confronted him at the Cincinnati hospital where he worked, and he confessed during a 40-minute livestream that he had exchanged child pornography. A search of his phone revealed disturbing videos and images of children, including infants, with one clip capturing a child screaming for the abuse to stop.

In chat logs, Naylor expressed a desire to legalize child rape and described fantasies involving a “perv dad and his boy.” He pleaded guilty to eight counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor and one count of illegal use of a minor in a state of nudity, resulting in a 7-to-9½-year prison sentence, mandatory treatment, tier-two sex-offender registration, and five years of post-release control. The judge emphasized his accountability despite claims of intellectual disability and blindness.
