A shaky start on Sunday cost him time, yet he won two of four speed stages and finished 16.6 seconds ahead.
The victory places him among the leaders in the championship standings, trailing only Elfyn Evans and Sami Pajari, with two rallies left in Sardinia and Saudi Arabia. Toyota, the manufacturer for Solberg, Evans and Pajari, also secured the manufacturers' title for the weekend.
