Olivia Rodrigo's All-Women Festival Channels Ticket Sales to Reproductive Justice Groups

Olivia Rodrigo’s newly created Daisy Chain Fields festival opened in Irvine’s Great Park with an exclusively female lineup, including Chappell Roan, Doechii, Bikini Kill and Katseye, and pledged to funnel ticket sales to ten advocacy organizations focused on reproductive justice and women’s health. The event builds on Rodrigo’s Fund 4 Good initiative, which redirected $2.5 million from her Guts tour to groups such as Jhpiego, Women’s Shelters Canada and the Korea Foundation for Women.

Leaders from the Center for Reproductive Rights, Black Mamas Matter Alliance and National Domestic Workers Alliance praised the artist’s personal engagement and the platform’s potential to recruit young supporters. Organizers noted that while the exact donation total is still being calculated, all performers are appearing without fee, and any proceeds will support ongoing litigation and policy work. The festival occurs amid a resurgence of anti-abortion legislation, funding cuts to health programs and the return of Donald Trump to the White House, heightening its symbolic significance. Attendees will encounter on-site booths from groups like Planned Parenthood, Baby2Baby and the National Institute for Reproductive Health, turning a music event into a civic-engagement space.
