Oman and Germany discuss restoring free navigation in Hormuz and Red Sea

Oman's foreign minister and Germany's foreign minister held a phone call to talk about reopening safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea.

Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Oman's foreign minister, spoke with Dr. Johann Wadephul, Germany's foreign minister, by telephone. The conversation covered shared regional concerns, especially the need to re-establish freedom of navigation in the Hormuz Strait and the Red Sea.
