Oman Exports, operating within the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, is organizing a three-day trade mission in Almaty on Tuesday to promote Omani non-oil exports. The agenda includes pre-scheduled business matchmaking sessions linking Omani exporters with roughly 100-150 Kazakh companies, alongside market briefings and visits to relevant institutions. Delegates will explore signing memoranda of understanding and establishing enduring commercial ties, focusing on sectors such as pharmaceuticals, food, marble, aluminium and petrochemicals.

She also pointed to the rise in Oman-Kazakhstan trade during the first half of 2026 as evidence of growing economic cooperation. The initiative aligns with Oman Vision 2040 and aims to assist export-ready SMEs in accessing new distribution networks and enhancing competitiveness abroad.
