Omaxe partners with Lemon Tree's Carnation Hotels to run ten new hotels

Omaxe Ltd has signed an MoU with Carnation Hotels, a Lemon Tree Hotels subsidiary, to manage ten upcoming hotel projects across India worth about ₹4,000 crore.

Omaxe Ltd announced a memorandum of understanding with Carnation Hotels Pvt Ltd, the wholly-owned arm of Lemon Tree Hotels, to operate ten new hotel projects across eight locations, including Lucknow, Vrindavan, Amausi, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Amritsar, Kaushambi and Faridabad. The projects involve an estimated investment of around ₹4,000 crore and will comprise about 4,000 keys. This collaboration is part of Omaxe's broader plan to invest ₹6,200 crore in 19 hospitality projects across five states.

Managing director Mohit Goel said the partnership leverages Lemon Tree's established operating capabilities while Omaxe's sale-led development model ensures disciplined capital use. He noted that demand is rising in tier-2 and tier-3 cities, driven by business, leisure and pilgrimage travel, creating distinct accommodation needs.
