One dead and a woman injured after pedestrians struck in Malvik, Trøndelag

Police received a report of a collision at 10:29 in Malvik municipality. Two pedestrians were hit by a car; emergency crews arrived at 10:42. The male victim, aged in his 60s, died on site, while the female victim, in her 50s, was taken to hospital for treatment. The driver, a man in his 90s, was attended to by health services. Police forensic investigators are examining the scene.
