One dead and two injured after vehicle strikes cyclists on Gungahlin Drive
A car collided with three cyclists on Gungahlin Drive in Canberra's north, killing one person and leaving two others seriously hurt.
Around 6:30 am, a vehicle struck three cyclists near the Kosciuszko Avenue intersection on Gungahlin Drive in Palmerston. Emergency services closed the road between Well Station Drive and The Valley Avenue for an extended period. Police confirmed one fatality, one victim in critical condition and another in serious condition. Residents have been urged to use alternate routes while the scene is cleared.
