One dead, several injured after two‑vehicle collision in Vaughan

York Regional Police responded shortly after 7:40 p.m. on Sunday to a crash at the intersection of Jane Street and Brandon Gate Drive in Vaughan, north of Toronto. A vintage sport coupe collided with a black SUV that had three people inside. The driver of the coupe suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital. A 34‑year‑old passenger from Stoney Creek died at the scene, and one occupant of the SUV remains in a life‑threatening condition while the others were taken to medical facilities. Police have asked anyone who witnessed the crash or captured video footage to contact them.
