One Nation vows to imprison Andrews and Allan if it wins Victorian election

One Nation candidate Mark Nicholson promised to jail former premiers Daniel Andrews and Jacinta Allan by Christmas if the party secures power in the November state election.

During One Nation's campaign launch at the Crown Conference Centre in Southbank, candidate Mark Nicholson warned that a win in the November 28 Victorian poll would result in former premiers Daniel Andrews and Jacinta Allan being imprisoned by Christmas. The event, attended by roughly 750 party members, featured Pauline Hanson presenting 93 candidates and Warren Pickering urging voters to seize a historic chance to reshape politics.

The party released a 63-page policy document titled The Real Deal, proposing harsher crime penalties, tax cuts, cancellation of the Suburban Rail Loop, and a rollback of renewable energy projects. No costings have been provided for these measures. A handful of protesters braved heavy rain outside, and media crews from one outlet and SBS were denied entry, reflecting One Nation's ongoing ban on certain outlets. The party currently holds a single seat in the Victorian parliament, held by Rikkie-Lee Tyrrell.
