Oregon's Dante Moore sidelined for UCLA game as backup Dylan Raiola steps in

Quarterback Dante Moore remains in concussion protocol and will miss Oregon's matchup against UCLA, with backup Dylan Raiola starting.

Oregon quarterback Dante Moore will sit out the upcoming Top 25 clash with UCLA as he continues his recovery under concussion protocol after a hard hit by USC linebacker Desman Stephens. The Ducks will elevate backup Dylan Raiola to the starting role; Raiola, a former Nebraska starter who transferred to Oregon, has already accumulated 413 passing yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions in two games this season. Moore was taken off the field on a stretcher and transported by ambulance following the Sept. 26 incident, after which Stephens was suspended by USC head coach Lincoln Riley and issued an apology.

Both Oregon head coach Bob Chesney and UCLA head coach Dan Lanning have spoken positively about each other's programs, emphasizing respect rather than rivalry. The game at Autzen Stadium will be Raiola's first start for the Ducks, marking a new chapter in the season for Oregon.
