Oslo tingrett has extended Sharok Ezazi's pre-trial detention by four weeks, stating there is sufficient reason to suspect him of serious drug offenses linked to a substantial seizure in Østfold. The 59-year-old, a former doctor and psychiatrist, was arrested at Landvetter airport near Göteborg and is also charged in a separate Lørenskog investigation involving the disappearance of Anne-Elisabeth Hagen. He denies any involvement in narcotics.
Police are scrutinising his financial assets and associations to identify other participants, while the court warned he could tamper with witnesses or evidence if released. No interrogation has yet taken place, though a standing offer for questioning remains. The case also references earlier convictions for fraud and misuse of funds related to the Lucia foundation.
