OTF Jam testifies about 2022 shooting in Lil Durk murder-for-hire case

In the ongoing murder-for-hire trial of Grammy-winning rapper Lil Durk, former Black Disciples member Kacey Hester, alias OTF Jam, testified that the 2022 shooting of rapper Quando Rondo felt poorly planned. Hester identified himself, Keith Jones and Kavon Grant as the three masked shooters who fired roughly 18 rounds at Rondo’s vehicle, missing the target but killing Rondo’s cousin, Saviay’a Robinson, known as Lil Pab.

He said he entered the scheme reluctantly, expressing doubts while the group waited near a Catholic church. The assault unfolded at a West Hollywood gas station, where Hester claimed he was the second shooter after Lindsey exited a car, though Lindsey is not listed as a shooter. After the brief exchange, the perpetrators abandoned a stolen car and escaped in another vehicle, with Lil Durk on the phone asking for details. Hester, who has pleaded guilty to the murder, said he received no payment for the hit, only a $10,000 recording fee.
