Over 2 million bottles of Ricky Joy sour candy pulled due to choking risk
More than 2 million bottles of Ricky Joy Sour Crush Rolling Liquid Candy are being recalled after officials warned that the rollerball cap can detach and cause choking.
Authorities have issued a recall of more than 2 million bottles of Ricky Joy Sour Crush Rolling Liquid Candy after determining that the rollerball top can detach from the 1.85-fluid-ounce container, creating a choking danger. The candies, priced at about $3 per bottle or $13-$32 for a 12-pack, were sold across the United States and via Walmart.com and RickyJoy.com between January 2023 and May 2026. Four flavors—blue raspberry, strawberry, green apple and watermelon—are affected.
Federal officials reported that no injuries have been recorded to date. Consumers should cease consumption, return the items to the retailer for a refund, or reach out to The Ricky Joy Company at 404-975-0352 for further guidance.
