Over Half of Business Travelers Secure Their Own Internet Access, Report Shows

According to Holofly’s 2026 Summer Travel & eSIM Report, 53.4% of business travelers will manage their own internet connectivity after arriving at their destination, relying on hotel or airport Wi-Fi, roaming or other methods. Security is the primary priority for 41.7% of all travelers and for 52% of those whose employers provide mobile data. Alex Bryszkowski, Holofly’s Vice-President of B2B & Partnerships, argues that corporate-supplied connections remove the need for employees to choose a solution on the ground and give companies tighter control over the travel experience.

Holofly highlights that its Business Center enables organizations to pre-assign international eSIMs and oversee usage centrally. The findings underscore the growing importance of seamless connectivity for employees accessing corporate systems while abroad.
