Packers running back Josh Jacobs faces misdemeanor charges after alleged assault on girlfriend

A Brown County court document details that Packers running back Josh Jacobs and his girlfriend clashed at his home on May 23 after she alleged he was talking to other girls. The confrontation involved both parties throwing phones, a prolonged physical struggle, and Jacobs reportedly seizing his girlfriend's phone before leaving the house. She followed him in a separate vehicle, and the pair later returned, where the argument continued in a bedroom.

Jacobs is accused of calling her a derogatory term, threatening her, and ultimately grabbing and throwing her to the ground, resulting in a head injury. The Brown County District Attorney’s Office has charged him with one count of misdemeanor battery and one count of misdemeanor criminal damage to property. Jacobs was initially arrested on May 26, but charges were delayed pending additional evidence.
