Pakistani forces kill ten insurgents as a premature car bomb kills three civilians in Balochistan

Pakistani security forces clashed with militants in Balochistan, a province long troubled by separatist violence, and reported the deaths of ten insurgents linked to the "Fitna Al Hindustan" label used for Baloch groups. During the same day, a car bomb intended for a target exploded prematurely in the Surab district, killing three civilians at a nearby house and eight militants handling the explosives. The military confirmed that two of its soldiers sustained injuries in the firefight.

Authorities say the operation aims at outlawed groups such as the Baloch Liberation Army, which has previously attacked security forces, Chinese projects and infrastructure. Pakistan also notes the presence of Pakistani Taliban elements allied with the Afghan Taliban, adding complexity to the security landscape. India has denied any involvement in supporting the militants.
