Pakistani military airstrike hits civilian home in Kunar, killing three and wounding four

Pakistani military jets bombed a civilian dwelling in the Nor Ghul district of Kunar province early Saturday, killing three members of the same family - Noor Ahmed, his wife and their daughter - and wounding four others. Witnesses recounted how the explosion shattered the house, burying the victims under debris that had to be cleared by neighbors. Mubin Khan, who survived the attack, said he rescued his injured brother and sister from the rubble, while other relatives described the victims as non-combatants with no personal enmity.

District governor Habibullah Zubair confirmed the strike occurred around three thirty in the morning and condemned the violation of civilian life. Residents are urging the Islamic Emirate to issue a decisive retaliation to deter future incursions. The Pakistani forces also carried out air raids in Paktika’s Barmal district, targeting the Rakh and Tor Kandi areas.
