Palestinian detainee dies after cardiac arrest at Ennab checkpoint
Raafat Khairy Abu Khalil, a 45-year-old Palestinian, died at the Ennab checkpoint in the West Bank while in Israeli military custody.
Abu Khalil, identified as a captain of the Palestinian Military Training Authority in Jericho, suffered cardiac arrest while detained by Israeli soldiers at the Ennab checkpoint east of Tulkarm. The Palestine Red Crescent arrived to find him undergoing CPR and later confirmed his death at the scene. His body was taken to Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarm.
