Palestinian Media Leaders Claim Success in Sharing Their Narrative Worldwide
Palestinian media chief Ahmad Assaf said the sector has managed to broadcast the Palestinian story globally despite platform restrictions and occupational pressures.
At the main session of the fourth Future of Media and Communication Forum in Amman, General Supervisor of Palestinian Official Media Ahmad Assaf asserted that Palestinian media has succeeded in conveying its narrative to the world. He emphasized that this achievement comes despite restrictions imposed by social media platforms and the Israeli occupation. Assaf cited the severe sacrifices of Palestinian journalists, reporting that more than 260 have been killed since October 7, 2023, with additional staff injured or detained.
He urged the establishment of Arab digital platforms capable of delivering the Palestinian perspective in various languages.
