Palo Alto Networks rolls out AI-driven security service using Claude and GPT models
Palo Alto Networks announced a new AI-based cybersecurity offering that leverages Anthropic's Claude Mythos 5 and OpenAI's GPT-5.6-Cyber to continuously scan corporate environments for vulnerabilities.
Palo Alto Networks revealed its latest cybersecurity product, Unit 42 Continuous Frontier AI Defense, designed to provide ongoing AI-enhanced testing of digital assets. The platform integrates Anthropic's Claude Mythos 5 and OpenAI's GPT-5.6-Cyber, alongside open-source models, to identify security gaps in web applications, APIs and cloud services. It also delivers remediation guidance, offering both code-level fixes and virtual patching options.
Availability will be global through annual subscriptions, with fees reflecting the combination of AI models a client selects. The launch reflects growing concerns that malicious actors are exploiting AI to locate and weaponize system vulnerabilities.
