Panasonic Lumix L10 delivers fast zoom and strong performance at a premium price

Panasonic launched the Lumix L10 as an evolution of the LX100 II, swapping the fixed-focus lens for a 24-75mm equivalent Leica zoom that can focus as close as 3 cm. It uses a cropped 26.5-MP Four-Thirds sensor and new processor to produce 20.3 MP stills, 9 fps mechanical burst and up to 30 fps electronic burst, supported by a 779-point phase-hybrid autofocus with AI subject recognition. Video capabilities include 5.6K 60p in 10-bit and V-Log, though optical stabilization is limited for handheld shooting.

At 508 g and $1,500, it competes with Sony's RX100 VII ($1,500) and Fujifilm's X100 VI ($1,800), offering faster shooting speeds and a fully articulating display. The camera provides 420 shots or 100 minutes of 4K 60p per charge and features a separate SD slot for easy card swaps. Image quality is sharp with low noise up to ISO 12,800, and multiple aspect-ratio options make it versatile for enthusiasts seeking a premium compact.
