Paris prosecutor says investigation into Epstein network has identified new potential recruiters
The Paris public prosecutor announced that investigators have pinpointed additional individuals suspected of acting as recruiters for Jeffrey Epstein’s network.
Paris’s chief prosecutor disclosed that the ongoing inquiry into the complex Jeffrey Epstein trafficking network has uncovered further potential recruiters, widening the investigation beyond earlier suspects. The comment came after the July death of Daniel Siad, a model recruiter linked to Epstein, which had provoked anger from complainants over perceived judicial delays. Officials have now listed 26 victims, with eight still awaiting interview, including some living outside France.
The prosecutor noted that 13 of these victims had not appeared in prior investigations involving individuals like former model agent Jean-Luc Brunel and former Elite director Gérald Marie. While Brunel died in custody in 2022, Marie, previously cleared on prescription grounds, has faced renewed complaints since the release of the Epstein Files; he maintains he never assaulted anyone and denies any connection to Epstein. The investigation is said to span locations from New York to Saint-Tropez and Cannes.
