Partial building collapse in Vienna's city centre injures woman severely
A ceiling collapse in a three-storey building on Färbergasse in central Vienna left a 57-year-old woman badly hurt, rescuers said.
Around 22:30 on Sunday, the ceilings of three floors in a house on Färbergasse gave way, according to a fire department spokesperson. The 57-year-old resident fell from the third floor and required several hours before she could be freed. Police, fire and emergency services also rescued two other occupants from the structure.
