Passengers removed from easyJet flight after repeatedly vaping despite crew warnings
Four British travellers were escorted off an easyJet flight from Larnaca to Birmingham after ignoring multiple requests to stop vaping.
On a flight from Larnaca, Cyprus, to Birmingham, three women and a man persisted in vaping after cabin crew repeatedly asked them to stop. A police officer boarded the aircraft upon landing and instructed the four to leave, leading to a brief stand-still on the runway that lasted over 20 minutes. Passengers reported growing irritation, with some children becoming upset by the extended wait.
The incident was captured on a fellow traveller’s phone and later shared online. easyJet said the crew acted to maintain safety and that disruptive behaviour is not tolerated. West Midlands Police confirmed they responded to a complaint and assisted the airline staff in removing the passengers.
