Patrick Holland to Keep Leading Banijay U.K. After $8 Billion All3Media Merger
Patrick Holland will remain executive chairman and CEO of Banijay U.K. following the recent merger of Banijay with All3Media.
The $8 billion merger that united Banijay and All3Media last month created Banijay Entertainment, a London-based conglomerate jointly held by Banijay Group and RedBird IMI. Within this new structure, Patrick Holland has been retained as executive chairman and chief executive of Banijay U.K., reporting to Banijay Entertainment CEO Marco Bassetti. RedBird IMI’s Jeff Zucker serves as chairman of the combined firm, while All3Media chief Jane Turton has been appointed deputy CEO.
Holland, a former one outlet director for factual, arts and classical music who joined Banijay U.K. in 2022, will manage a portfolio of about 40 UK production labels, integrating All3Media’s assets. He highlighted the “phenomenal talent” across both groups and his aim to unlock the merged businesses’ potential. The appointment marks the first senior executive confirmation since the deal, signaling continuity amid integration questions, especially around distribution synergies.
Why it matters
The leadership continuity helps stabilize the newly formed media giant as it integrates two large production houses.
