PDIC Surpasses 2025 Goals for Asset Recovery and Bank Liquidations
The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corp. reported that it has exceeded its 2025 targets for recovering assets, resolving loans and liquidating closed banks.
According to the state-run insurer, PDIC resolved 2,389 property items valued at a gross book amount of P524.9 million. It also prepared 404 assets for public bidding. These actions have boosted recoveries for both depositors and creditors, surpassing the benchmarks set for 2025.
