Pedro Sánchez and Begoña Gómez own six properties, including luxury apartments with pools

Investigative findings reveal that Pedro Sánchez and his wife Begoña Gómez hold six real-estate assets, several of which feature private pools and parking spaces.

A property investigation shows that Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez and his spouse Begoña Gómez together possess six dwellings. Sánchez bought a one-bedroom flat in Tres Olivos in 1994 and a larger family apartment in Aluche in 2005, each accompanied by a garage and access to communal pools. In Pozuelo de Alarcón, a third flat is registered to Sánchez’s in-laws, Sabiniano Gómez Serrano and Miguel Ángel Gómez Fernández, while Begoña holds a 181-square-metre terrace apartment there, also with pool access.

Additionally, Begoña co-owns a 112-square-metre central Madrid flat with her brother and a newly built 80-square-metre beach house in Mojácar, purchased in 2013. The financing for the Madrid and Pozuelo assets is traced to the family company San Bernardo 36 SL, which previously operated several gay saunas in the capital.

Why it matters

The holdings contrast with Sánchez's public advocacy for affordable housing, raising questions about personal wealth and political credibility.
